The most used method for cleaning the objects immediately after printing is to plunge or spray them with a 50/50% mix of water and Ethanol, Isopropyl Alcohol and excellent results can be achieved with DPM (Dipropylene Glycol Methyl Ether). DPM is relatively non-flammable, has low vapor pressure can be reused and is not hazardous to the environment. It’s dissolving properties are superior to IPA and it can be safely used in ultrasound devices.

We discourage from using Methanol as it is toxic. After cleaning the object with the above mix, you can rinse the object, sometimes compressed air is used to remove any drops of resin remaining in cavities, and proceed to post-cure them in an UV oven or in ambient sunlight.
