Spot-IC - Castable

We have developed Spot-IC investment castable resin in collaboration with several professional jewelers using a range of investment casting processes. The design incorporates critical features:

• Ash-free burn-out
• Hardness and flexibility
• Low thermal expansion
• Posibility to post-process the printout

We have tested several burn-out schedules. From Gold Star Omega+, Kerr Satincast and R&R Plasticast and all give positive results with long hot end stages (>650ºC) during burn-out. You can also follow our burn-out recommendations at the Technical Docs section.

This castable resin is presented in yellow or green to provide better detail of the printed parts for filigrae work.

Spot-IC has a shelf life of 12 months. Keep the container tightly closed in a dry and cool place.
