The general best practice is to post-cure the printed objects in a well calibrated UV oven. using a 1-2W per dm² during 45min at 45ºC is a well tested methods, but many other parameters have been shown to work well. These settings may change depending on resin reactivity, clarity and pigment loading and color. Some users have chosen to expose their work to the sunlight or to fluorescent light. Tungsten Halogen works as well, but the best results are achieved if the curing light has some part of UV spectrum. Sunlight or “Black Light” fluorescent lamps are quite effective and finish curing the object in minutes, but the amount of cure energy can vary widely with weather, latitude and other factors. UV light is also useful to reduce the tackiness feel of the surfaces.
